A Barbarian and Witch Doctor is helping the Wizard here. The Barbarian kills an Activated Vessel, and levels up. The level up acts as a physical explosion in the game.

Sweet! I've been wondering what this looks like since the dev's said it was "cool looking."

Edit: Was looking around at prior videos and found that "Diablo III The Female Wizard" shows (I believe) the level up animation.
