    what are up'd items?

i see stuff like up'd gores for example. what does that mean and how do you do it? are there variables? does it make sense to up something and not to up something?

Here's how to upgrade items. Note that only the base item is upgraded. All mods remain the same on the upgraded item. Nothing changes, just the base item.

Generally yes because upgraded items have higher damage/defense than their normal counterparts.

so... i just picked up a perf ed set of gores... would it make sense to up them in order to raise their value even more? or just leave them as is?

up'ing items also makes their req go up so for certain items it kinda decreases their value. such one would be a hoz as more ppl like hoz's the way they are.

gores are nice when up'd so if u need them for a char, then up them as they're good for kickers and such. be weary that the def can vary though as they can range from 18x - 213.
generally if u get a good roll, u make some profit. if roll is bad, u may end up loseing a bit or dont make a profit by hitting equally same value.
