I'm loving the new AH stats comparison feature, and a female wizard is always shoe shopping. But in this case I don't get why the Zun's shown would increase her DPS so significantly, given the minimal difference in Intelligence stats.

I assume -- although this is not terribly useful, if the comparison works this way -- that the % poison damage is being factored in (?) If so, and given that I don't even think wizards use poison, this is a bit misleading.

OR -- I'm an idiot and the Zuns are really that much better.

Thoughts? (She's wearing no other Zuns items at the moment...)

Maybe you are wearing another from the same set, so it's factoring in the +130 int bonus?

The 8% bonus applies to any physical damage you do. So if you have a black weapon and items that give integer damage like a Mojo, rings, or amulet it can give you a significant boost.

I'm not saying it's actually right, but it could be.

Nope. Not wearing any other Zuns.

So, it's not just raising poison-based attacks by 8%, but adding 8% poison damage to the physical damage that her weapon is doing?

Yes, that's correct. That is why weapons that do pure physical are more popular.
