It's great that you're still young enough to enjoy your birthdays. Here's to many more of them, at least until you don't want to think about yet <another> one.

Did you want more ponies? This is real.. but if there's cake, is it a lie?

That picture makes me so happy!! :') Thanks, Merv!!

*sigh* Idk if I will ever get sick of bdays. I say that now, but in 20 years from now, I may have another feeling about it. Or not! I plan to look hot when I'm 46. So, I'm trying to work out a little now, watch my food intake so I will look GLAMOUROUS in 20 years from now! That and I still want to have my mobility and not be sick. :( Because that sucks. I just hope my back doesn't give out anytime soon. :(

I'm grateful that YOU can still get a giggle out of it, considering how often I've teased you about it.

Seriously, I'll never forget that line for as long as I live. I'm sure your aunt is a lovely person, but damn, that's still one of the most banal and condescending statements I've ever heard and it STILL cracks me up every time I'm reminded of it.

It was a playful tease and always has been. :) I may be a little crazy, but that I've always known.

My aunt a lovely woman? Hmmm.... Lol! Almost kidding. She is a very affable woman. But the women in my family... Ohmygod. I'm sure you don't need a reminder, but the matriarchs have filthier mouths than I do. That's just one of many things they have said!

okay, I guess it's time to spill.

My family has always been matriarchal. My biological father left a long time ago and my uncle and step-father just let my mom and aunt run things because, well, they are strong and stubborn women. Growing up, I heard A LOT of bull**** and I'm serious when I say that they have dirtier mouths than I do. As a little girl (and sorta into my teens), I was always worried about not having a boyfriend or being too ugly for boys, something trivial and juvenile like that. So, my aunt told me, "You don't need to be worrying about boys! You're too young! You can't even wipe your own *** right so you don't need to be worrying about boys! You need to focus on school, your grades," and then later my extracurricular activities like dance. I turned 18 and I think I was like, "I'm 18 now and I still don't know how to wipe my own ***?" she replied, "You barely know!" an I'm not the only one she told that too! She told ALL of the children (she has two and I am the oldest of three) that whenever we were concerned a little too much about the opposite sex. "You're too young to worry about boys/girls! You can't even wipe your own *** right and you're worrying about boys/girls!"

I told that to Dredd a while back and he just ROARED with laughter. I'm sure had I been in his presence I would've had to pass him tissue to wipe away the tears. Like he said, he's never heard anything so banal and crass (? did you say it was crass?) in his life and I'm like, "Really? Because I have a lot more stories!"

Thank you, everyone!! I had a very pleasant evening with cake and laughter! And again last night! :D It was with my family. Baby Brother was kind enough to make a huge meal and buy me chocolate cake. SO DOUBLE THE CAKE! SCORE! :alright:

I do. It's funny, it's one of those silly things parents/adults say when they run out of things to say or never had any to begin with. My mother would often remind me that I'm useless etc by using the expression that "I was too stupid to even dance for the devil".

My mother called me "dingleberry" because I had "no common sense whatsoever." I thought it was another name for stupid, not what it actually means. :bored:

Feel any wiser? No. Other than a clean arse is the way to land a man and "Peanut Butter Booty" is not the way to go. :rolf: (Oh, Dredd will understand that) (pretty sure the OTF knows that story...)

Hey, Dawn! Here is some "wise" advice to pass on to your children! :D But don't put it is abrasively as my aunt did. Or maybe you should for the lols. :dontknow:
