    OMG I am SOOOO excited!!!

I know this is two threads in one day but I just saw the trailer for the Tristan & Isolde movie coming out in the new year. I wanna see it soo bad and looks like just my type of movie. It's got romance for me and jousting and swordfights for Anakhahead. I think I will be drooling until I see it in theatres. I love the story so much...I just hope the movie does it justice.

Never was there a tale of greater woe, than that of...Tristan und Isolde?

James Franco plays Tristan, a knight, and Sophia Myles plays the future Queen of England. It's a classic tale of love found and love lost. For those who enjoy opera (but are too afraid to admit it), Richard Wagner composed one based on this tale.

The original fable. Just so you can educate yourselves.

Odd. I remember the original tale had some old guy on the boat forgetting to change the sails' colour.

    Or is that another story?

That would be Theseus and the Minotaur, an old Greek myth. Because Theseus was so happy at having killed the minotaur and escaped, he forgot to change the black sail to white, causing his father King Aegeus to jump off a cliff in grief.
