Hello! Long time forum lurker here ..

I am planning on making some mulled beer this year around my family. I remember waaay back we had a thread about actually brewing the stuff, so I have to ask, as I know you beer lovers are out there.

What are your experiences, I never tried mulling anything but wine. Even for that, I used a pre-bought mixture of spices. I really want to give a try to the real stuff now though, and I found sooo many recipes, and some of them I actually find gross .. Adding a yolk to mulled beer ? No thanks. But then again maybe that is a good thing to do and I just don't know it.

Anyways, any tips/experiences/recipes/free beers are welcome.

Yeah, i've only done grape juice. Heh. I have had lavendar beer. That was. . . interesting. It wasn't bad the first few sips then the lavendar got stronger and stronger and then it tasted like hops and soap.

Good luck!! Let us know how it comes out!

I was Mulling over this Beer Fact.

Jimmy Carter de-regulated the beer market making it possible for craft brew.In 1979, Carter de-regulated the beer market, which had been tightly controlled since the end of prohibition.
