    Matriarch Tyris – Strafe zon

    Intro

This was the 2nd strafer I ever made. The first one – FA/strafe zon, was designed especially for mavina's set. It's a fun and strong char but limited to specific areas because of her skills and equipment. I needed another one to serve as a test char for various equipment setups so I decided to make this one.
As lots of my previous chars, this was a MP char (together with Face). Her teammate was a holy fire/holy shock ranger which provided AoE damage and some solution for PI's.

    Summary

As always with amazons, the start was boring with no good skills till strafe was available, then I struggled a bit until I managed to get enough manna leech to sustain strafe and from that point it was a smooth sailing. Normal and NM were done on /P8 and Hell on /P3. It was extremely fast and safe journey and I enjoed those chars a lot. KB, which I used for the first time, is one of the best crowd control "skills" in the game and finally I understand why getting hit with an ama = playing wrong :D

Weapons – at the beginning I used some rare bows until I got skystrike and later the buriza (which deserve a build too). My original plan was to use WWS but after playing with it I decided that it will be a good chance to try the rare bow (mostly because of AR) and that bow became my end game weapon.

Amulets – this was the toughest decision and I still can't decide which one is better. For those who think the amp on the bow is enough, well…it's not enough. The difference is noticeable, with atma I get 9.75% to cast amp which is almost double then the bow alone. On the other hand, the stats on the amulet are too good to let it go…

Armors – I already hear "treachery is much better"…I agree but one of the rules I set to myself is that every char will have his own equipment. I already used treachery on several chars and it just ruing the fun for me to use the same items over and over again.

Deaths – had 2. The first was in NM WSK, I played half asleep and ran ahead of the team. Suddenly I was surrounded with oblivion knights and before I understood whats going on I was dead. The second death was in one of the ice caves in Hell. I opened an evil urn that spawn a group of snakes. I placed myself in a wrong position and they all shot at me = dead ama.

All in all it's one of the better chars I ever played. Since my equipment isn't something usual I can't really recommend on this specific build but overall strafers are lots of fun.

    Thanks for reading

Hmm, weird bow. It must have been pretty slow, because of low damage.
