I was just wondering which jewels and charms are most sought after. If there is a guide already on here, please re-direct me.

From what I can remember from small charms 7mf, 5@ and 20life were always wanted. Can these be combined, for example, 20life/7mf? Which other combinations are possible?

As for jewels, i've never really used them much so any information on them would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

PS. If this is the wrong forum, I apologise.

20 life / 5 @res are probably the best scs ever!

Still 11 res together with 20 life can be great, especially if you only need one resist... like fire resist for many spirit wielder.

Mana, strenght and dex are also good adds... then the poison damage scs... i don't think there is much more.

About jewels, the most sought after should be 40% ed / 15% ias

So heres the list Ive just made. Took a little bit of time, but I had to check what the elemental dmg variables were! ;)

Small Charms, useful Prefixes. (only max rolls shown)

    30 def
    36ar
    3max/20ar
    17 mana
    5% All res
    11% Lres/Fres/Cres/Pres
10-20 Cold dmg* (Not very useful except for the 1sec cold length)
    19-29 Fire dmg
    1-71 Lightning dmg
175 Poison dmg over 6 secs

    Useful Suffixes.

5-9 Cold dmg* (Could be a nice add, if you lack cold dmg on gear)
    7-13 Fire dmg
    1-28 Lightning dmg
50 Poison dmg over 6 secs
    1 max dmg
    5% fhr
    10% extra gold
    7% magic find
    20 life
    2 dexterity
    2 strength
    3 frw

    Notes:
Magical items, and all charms are magical (Torch/anni/gheed are exceptions ofc), can only have 1 Prefix and/or 1 Suffix.
You can get double lightning dmg, and the damage stacks up like this:

    Prefix: 1-71 Ldmg
    Suffix: 1-28 Ldmg
    =
    2-99 Ldmg.
Getting a charm like this is very rare, rarer than others due to the large variables on the dmg.

Another note is that small charms are the most effective charm, "stats/space taken" wise.
20life on 3 small charms is more effective, than 1 grand charm with 45 life. Just an example.

Max dmg small charms can be, at the best, 3max/20ar with a nice add. Or 4max/20 ar.

Large Charms, useful Prefixes. (only max rolls shown)

    60 def
    77ar
    6max/48ar
    34 mana
    8% all res
    27-43 Fire dmg
    1-90 Lightning dmg

    Useful Suffixes.

    10-17 Fire dmg
    1-38 Light dmg
    2 max dmg
    8% fhr
    22% extra gold
    35 life
    5 strength
    5 dexterity
    5 frw

    Notes:
Large charms are the most effective charm, "stats/space taken" for str/dex.

Large charms are the least popular choice when it comes to charms. Mostly due to the fact that they cant be mixed with Skiller Grand charms in the inventory.
But I personally love them, for 2 reasons. They can have pretty ok stats, but they are very cheap. (ladder)

Max dmg Large charms are always underrated, even though they can be almost just as good as small charms. And always cheaper.

6max/48ar with an add. Or 8max/48ar. (which is better space wise.)

Grand charms, useful Prefixes. (only max rolled shown)

    100 def
    132 ar
    10max/76ar
    59 mana
    15% all res
    30% Lres/Fres/Cres/Pres
+1 Tab skills! (*Useful skilltabs, read below)
    18-36 Fire dmg
    1-79 Lightning dmg

    Useful Suffixes.

    7-14 Fire dmg
    1-33 Lightning dmg
    4 max dmg
    12% fhr
    40% eg
    45 life
    6 dexterity
    6 strength
    7 frw

    Notes:

+1 skilltabs is very popular, ofc. With the right adds, such a kind of charm can be very, very valueable.
*Heres my thoughts/explanations of the different skill tabs:

    -Paladin Combat
    - Together with the Sorc Light, the most valueable skiller.
    -Paladin Offensive Auras
    - Medium value.
    -Paladin Defensive Auras
    - Close to worthless.

    -Sorceress Lightning
    - Together with the Pala Combat, the most valueable skiller. Beats it though if it got 45 life.
    -Sorceress Cold
    - Medium value. But very easily sold, due to many cold sorcs in the early-mid ladder.
    -Sorceress Fire
    - Low-Medium value.

    -Amazon Bow & Crossbow
    - Low value. Unless the Amazon uses elemental dmg, other charms with +max dmg is a better choice in most cases.
    -Amazon Javelin & Spear
    - Medium-High value. The most valueable skiller of this kind has either life or frw.
    -Amazon Passive
    - Low value. Other charms with +max dmg is better suited for the build.

    -Barbarian Combat
    - Close to worthless. Other charms with +max dmg is a better choice in most cases.
    -Barbarin Masteries
    - Close to worthless. Other charms with +max dmg is a better choice in most cases.
    -Barbarian Warcries
    - High value with the right add.

    -Necromancer Curses
    - Probably the least valueable skiller. Worth very little, even with 45life.
    -Necromancer Summoning
    - Low-Medium value. Easily sold skiller, due to the high popularity of the famous Fishymancer build, and others.
    -Necromancer Poison & Bone
    - High value skiller.

    -Assassin Traps
    - Medium value skiller.
    -Assassin Martial Arts
    - Low value. Not very popular, but useful for elemental oriented MAAssassins.
    -Assassin Shadow Disciplines
    - Low-High value. Useful with the right adds, or high adds. Duellers choice of skiller every now and then.

    -Druid Elemental
    - Medium value.
    -Druid Summoning
    - Close to useless. One of the least popular skillers available.
    -Druid Shapeshifting
    - Close to useless. Other charms with +max dmg is a better choice in most cases.

Another note, is that Grand charms can have the most effective Gold Find bonus. 40%, compared to 10% and 22% respectively.

14max/XXar is also one very, very rare charm. And has a very high value.
10/xx ar Grand charms with a nice add is always valueable. But 11-12max/ar not so valueable, needs 13 or 14 max dmg.

EDIT: Will add more as I get corrected, or remembers more! ;)
EDIT2: One of my worst areas, even though Im not a newbie, are about rare jewels. But Ill add some info/thoughts about those too! Coming soon!
EDIT3: I really should save this text somewhere on my PC..

    Thanks Erfel!

Archone, once again, thank you!! You've cleared a few things up in my head there ;) Now for the list of jewels :p

I've been lucky enough to find the following 3 in the last day.

    20life Sc
    5@Sc
11lres 15life Sc (Not max, but i'm happy with it being a straight find :) )

There are more to come, like your 15l/11Lres sc.

15life is a prefix with the lvl req of 18. 15life is max for that lvl I mean.

11 to any resist has a lvl req of 32 however.

The sc will have a lvl req of 32. But if it were lower or equal to 30, 20 or 18. It would be very good for duelling.

So if your sc had 9%Lres, it would be worth a tad more! ;)
Because then it wouldve had a lvlreq of 20!

    Peace
