    Guiness World Record Attempt

Pretty crazy attempt in my opinion. I did 63 hours when I went for world first level 60 in Rift when it was released. I do not think I could of played 70, let alone 109 hours. Good luck to him / her.

Quite foolish to do this in my opinion. Someone needs to get him/her to snap out of it and relize that this is really bad for her/his health.

Wow, another completely pointless "record" that nobody is going to care about. Poor guy needs some direction in his life.

I am sure he will have some people monitoring him. Most people die playing games for a long period of time because they are idiots and dont eat, drink, or sleep. People have stayed up for upwards of 11 days I believe. I think there is a very small chance he actually dies from 4 and a half days.

He's going to take 30 minute breaks every four hours or so, which makes it much less hazardeous.

It's stupid, but not that stupid.

Sleep deprivation alone won't kill you unless you have very rare genetic condition (which will kill you once triggered because you literally can't sleep after that). It's impossible to stay awake long enough for it to kill you for a normal person.

Over/Under for how long it takes Battle.net to go down for maintenance and ruin his chances?

unfortunately many records are morely to get you killed than get you famous. Doesn't Guiness have enough responsibility not to have records that are killing people?

    Re: Guiness World Record Attempt

I don't quite understand whats so impressive about this. Someone did this in HON a few months ago. He gets 30 minute breaks every 4 hours that you are allowed to accumulate. I went off of 3 hours of sleep a day for a good week or more during finals in College...

I wouldn't be so sure. There was this dude in Sweden who died after 48 hours from an epileptic seizure due to not having proper nourishment. Bad things can happen to this dude if he isn't careful. I'm certainly not going to applaud him if he makes it.

The problem is, that people who attempt things like that are most likely overweight, eat nothing but junkfood and drink only soda.

A breeding ground for heart failure.
