    Character Summary:

    My goal was to get 100% of deadly strike, open wounds, and crushing blow. I did not achieve max Deadly strike, I believe at the end I was at 95%. I briefly considered using a Lo rune to get to over 100%. I quickly decided that would be a waste, and I would probably never be able to forgive myself.

    Because I was using a dagger my range was very low so monsters that run away were an annoyance. I countered that by using charge a lot, even at 1 point it had enough damage against single targets to be useful. I also used it to isolate unique monsters, I charged them until they hit a wall, or until freeze proc'd from exile and then stun lock them with smite.

    There is a bug with charge where you can get stuck in place, this is unbelievably annoying. Luckily it never happened when I was around anything dangerous. It seemed to occur mostly when I tried to switch to zeal about the same time charge would hit, I would get stuck until what I targeted died or moved back into range or I switched weapons. I learned to slow down my skill switching when using any kind of charge strategy to counter this bug.

    Questing:

    On to the story I guess. I played twinked from the very start. Whole game was done on P8 I did single pass, but I did not do full clears nor did I hit many side areas.

    First gear I used was Full Sigons and a skewer of krintz. I used angelic jewelery. I used the sigons and angelic all the way to late nightmare when I could start using my desired end game gear. I changed weapons a few times. I used an axe for a while after I got bored of the skewer. I cannot remember its name at the moment, but it had hit blinds target. When I got to level 39 I used a Headstriker, which is a pretty good mid game weapon. When I hit lv 57 I used my CTA phase blade as my main weapon until I could use Fleshripper. After that it was used on switch with a spirit.

    Normal was far too easy. I blew through it very fast, I did do all of the quests to gain exp along the way.

    Nightmare act 1 was a bit slower until I equipped the headstriker around bloodraven quest. Then the pace was about the same as normal. I blew threw everything with ease. Around act 3 I reached level requirements for some of my gear and Sigons got phased out. I used IK boots gloves and belt while using Exile, Duress, and G-Face this is also when I started using CTA as my weapon. I quickly learned that once life tap cast it was GG for everything. I got an IO rune from NM forge.
    Screenshot from CS with all gear equipped except highlord's and fleshripper, I found a defense shrine and was curious what it was. Another shot from Act 5 nightmare after I leveled up and noticed my defense was exactly 19000. Was an interesting round number so I got a shot of it. I tried to grab a shot from NM cows but I failed at having alt pushed. I got the last piece I needed for cow king set.

    Hell act 1 was a joke even on p8. I started getting really confident that I was going to cruise all the way through. I got an um in level 2 underground passage. Though useless in SP got a key from countess. I found a Sarcen's Chance in Outer cloister.

    Act 2 was a brutal kick in the crotch from reality. Though I was virtually indestructible with life tap and very good defense. I had no answer for Physical immune aside from a 300 poison damage GC and open wounds. I invested a point into Vengeance to try and correct this, it was still a very slow go. It took me 5 minutes to kill this guy to get to coldworm, that isn't the worst part. If you notice the conviction aura beetle in the back he also had stone skin and was physical immune. He also took 5 minutes to kill. The bolts luckily didn't hurt too bad even while convicted. I went through 6 Full rejuvs during the battle with both. After I finally got the staff, I went back to act 1 and did a respec. I grabbed sanctuary aura for the ghosts I was going to encounter and also took 1 point in conviction and Vengeance for non undead PI.
    In the claw viper temple I found an AoKL, which I was looking for for my necro.

    There was nothing really of interest in act 3, and act 3s boringness was welcomed after all of the PI I encountered in act 2. The jungle path was pretty straight forward and I encountered nothing even remotely dangerous. Even the gloams in Great marsh were rather unentertaining. High council was doing some decent damage to me until life tap proc, and then it was GG. I got a double essence drop from meph.

    Act 4 had 2 hard parts This was the first time I actually feared I might get killed. in the plains of despair I came across a double boss pack of gloams. and then I got flanked by a 3rd pack of normal gloams, My lit res was at 75 and had ~1900 life and was still getting shredded by the shear number of lightning bolts. I tried my best to fight it out but it was far to dangerous, mainly because my merc was glitched so they were not targeting him only me. I used charge and charged my butt out of there I went through 4 Full rejuvs and only managed to kill 4 gloams. I really wanted to get a screen shot of this but I was kind of in panic mode. 2nd dangerous spot was in City of the damned I got surrounded by Damned and whatever the venom lord equivalent is in that area. Something got me amp damaged, and through bad planning BO/BC wore off. I was nearly 1 hit killed multiple times. Thankfully due to life tap I instantly healed myself each time.
    I got a Gul from forge. Diablo was lame and dropped me nothing of value.

    The first half of Act 5 was generally quite easy. Until witches and claw vipers I encountered while rescuing anya. the combination of witches amp and viper's charge hurt. Though I never felt I was in any real danger of death, it hurt. I found an executioner's justice along the way.

    The ancients were unbelievably easy, took 1 zeal for life tap to proc and then it was GG with smite and zeal. I charged one of them into a corner so he would stop running away. The world stone keep was a repeat of witches like I encountered when saving anya. I managed level 1 fine, on level 2 there was fleshspawners I think their name is. I encountered a Fanaticism pack of them and a pack of witches. On players 8 I could not kill them fast enough to keep them from endless spawning of more minions. I also spent the whole time amp'd and if I tried chasing down the witches I was taking too much damage. I ended up TP'ing out of there, and save and exiting. I wasn't able to get the wp so I went through floor 1 again. luckily the wp was close to the arreat summit and I was able to run from floor 1 to floor 2 in about 30 seconds. After the monster reroll I got gloams and infidels monsters which were much more manageable. on the 3rd floor I had suicide guys and skeleton archers and mages. which was beyond easy. Baals minions were incredibly easy until PI Lister. He took me at least 12 minutes and 3 trips to town to kill. after all the hardships in the WSK baal was dropped in less than 2 minutes with smite. He was kind enough to give me a reaper's toll.

    Future plans?
    If I can find or trade for a Eth Berserker Axe I will drop most of the OW and make a death. and go full CB/DS. If it is fun enough and fast enough I might try to get to 99 eventually. I will add some PDR with verdungo's that I traded for and swap out my craft gloves for probably LoH. If I decide to grow a pair I might use my Lo rune for a Fortitude. I don't want to lose it though. which is why I haven't made one yet.

    I did not do Nihlathak or Hell Cows yet. I will do both either later tonight or tomorrow. I plan to equip some RIP for Nihl though. I will also kill the cow king.

    Although I make it a fanazealotvenger rather than hybrid smite.

    I was using vengeance and conviction at the end and it was still taking me ages to kill PI on players 8. Due to the low base damage on Fleshripper maybe? Either way the amount of times I got stonewalled by a PI was low I guess. Usually I just ignored them and moved on. If they were undead PI monsters Sanctuary made short work of them.

    It is my first SP CtA too. I am quite happy with it. Unless I get a deeds with it I probably won't have to make another one. Unless I really want one in a lower requirement base.

    Nicely done, and there are some nice jewels in there as well! Dealing with the Charge bug in HC is iffy. I think it has something to do with Holy Shield running out, so when I use Charge (not often, although I do have a stalled charger underway) I make sure that I refresh Holy Shield much more often than is needed.

    I can safely say that Holy shield never ran out on me. I was constantly refreshing it whenever I refreshed BO and BC. I only noticed it happening when I switched left mouse skills around the time that charge hit. When I first started this guy I was trying hard to switch skills very fast after charging, so [Charge hotkey > click monster > as soon as it is about to hit switch to zeal > monster gets hit and knocked back > I am frozen until monster comes back in range for me to hit them, or they die, or I switch weapons] I am sure I can duplicate this frozen in place thing on demand if I wanted. I am not saying that it doesn't happen if holy shield runs out, just saying that wasn't the cause for me.

    Thanks, only downside to them is no resists. I craft gloves whenever I find an elite magic one, and this is by far the best pair I have ever made.

    It has nothing to do with holy shield. Charge is bugged on its own.
    I run council by charging through through Travincal and it happens about 1/100 times. Weapon switching helps.

    Congrats on Guardian! Pretty quick too. Range 1 zeal weapons are a big no no for me. Try out Death, it's awesome!

    I finished Nihlathak and Cows. Fun shot of me tanking a cow horde like a boss.

    Thanks to Drystan giving me the base, I was able to make myself a death. I am still maintaining the 100% CB and 100% DS and have a damage range of 2917 - 8904 according to the character screen. No idea how accurate that is though. Everything I have encountered so far though has just melted in front of me.

    I would imagine he has no problem surviving because of.. , let's see, life tap, leech, uninterruptible attack, freezes target, ctc glacial spike, 75% block, imba defence from holy shield and defiance aura, max resists, call to arms, blah, blah, yawn.. And if somehow that all fails there's always full rejuvenation for the win.

    I really like those gloves. You ought to make a character for it ( amazon ) and give your paladin dracs/LoH
