I'd like a PC on :
51 poison dam over 7sec
Not a thing.
Thx..but damned, I thought it was valuable.
I don't think a level 9 Large Charm can have more than 25 psn / 3 or 4 seconds? Although I've not ever found a LC with prefix and suffix of poison damage. A 25 psn LC would be better replaced with a 15 life / +x mana/ar because jewels can easily pick up 20 psn dmg over 2 seconds if that's your thing...
I agree with Pat there, poison dmg charms are alot better at lvl 12 and up.
After some research, I found this thread :
And I quote :"If a single item has both a prefix and a suffix applying poison damage, then the rates and lengths of both are simply added."
The important thing is that the rate is added, not the total damage !
So, as my charm is a Septic LC of Venom :
Septic is 10 psn over 3 sec
Venom is 15 psn over 4 sec
- it will poison over 3+4 = 7 sec
- and the damage will be equal to (10/3*7) + (15/4*7) = (23,3333) + (26,25) / rounded up in / (24)+(27) = 51 ! qed
You can always have some nice maths with D2.
Separate names with a comma.
