CL/BL Sorceress Mat Thread

    CL/BL Sorceress Mat Thread

    I've pat/mat'ed many characters,but this is the first pat/mat thread I've posted.
    Initially this was going to be a character to be used for diablo normal running(that explains the name)
    ,but then I changed my mind and made her a CL/BL Sorc...just because I didn't have one and I also think that this build can be very efficient for baal running.
    Although she is still young(only lvl 73) I have great plans,I am planning to run baal with her.
    That is the reason I left many skills and quests unused,I want to find the best balance between CL and BL for Players1 Baal Running.
    So far I've invested 20 in CL and BL and the rest are going to be decided in the future.

    Strength was 156,so I could wear Spirit,everything else went to Life.
    I skipped A LOT of quests and WP's,so my unspent points are currently 9 but the real number is 19(if I complete all the quests).
    I wasn't planning on getting hit,so I didn't care about blocking or resistances.
    The 'boring' part was getting from level 1 to level 24,where I had blizzard.
    I got to nighmare at level 42,and to hell at level 66.
    Another boring part was leveling from 66 to 72,because I needed a stronger merc so I can handle the ancients.
    The ancients took me about 10 deaths before I did it right,(with the big help of my merc of course).

    Generally a very fun build,if you have the right equipment(not at all expensive though),I would surely recommend it.

    Congrats! I was wondering how you cope with the resists, but I don't knock Hotspur. My sorc and necro used them for ages.

    Congralutations (spelling sucks without coffee!) on your mat!
    Double Conguentalitations for doing it at level 73, OMG!

    Now go make a crescent moon sword to replace eschuta's if you want to melt Baals buddies with your chain lightning (especially wave 2, CI bastards).

    As I said,I didn't care much about the resistances,because I wasn't planning on getting hit very much,I let the merc do the hard work.
    plus when I was getting hit,I had the 1000+ life so I could survive.
    Of course the gear will be changed when she reaches lvl 80+,but
    Hotspur is a very very usefull pair of boots,I use it all the time.I may keep this one.
    Bladebuckle was weird for me too,I wanted to put tal's belt,but it was currently used by my meteorb.I could have also used arach but it needs clvl 80.
    Actually I could have used a HoTo and tal's armor and one um'ed shako,but they also belonged to my lvl 90 meteorb,and I really didn't want to borrow her gear...after all,they belonged to her.
    About the cresent moon,it is a very nice choice,but I don't have the um right now,also when I get an um,I will probably make a stone armor instead,for the clay golem tank.After that,I will make the cresent moon.
    I forgot to say the Hellforge runes were Lum/Lem...not very nice,but it could have been worse...
