Re: Ask me all your questions

Here's a question that's been on my mind this weekend...nevermind just thought up more: (I might be able to search these but let's get the thread going?)

    1. So melee attacks (straight-up melee no skills) are completely removed?

    2. I haven't tested this but does anyone know how/why/if equipping a higher dmg weapon affects magical attack damage? Like I switch from holding a crap dagger to a javelin on a Witch Doctor are my spiders magically stronger?

    3. What's going to be the character limit per account?

Re: Ask me all your questions

    1. They're still there. You also automatically use normal melee attacks if you do not have enough resources to perform a resource costing ability.

    2. Yes, your DPS is affected by your weapon damage. You can check your character screen to see how different weapons affect your overall DPS (so you don't have to calculate stuff like "will I benefit more from more weapon dmg with less attack speed or more attack speed with less weapon dmg, etc).

    3. 10 character slots

Re: Ask me all your questions

    1. For the barb yes because he has fury generating melee that will always be better than basic attack for the wizard yes because she has signature spells for the demon hunter yes and same for monk I believe the witch doctor is the only one who I can see using basic attack if he runs out of mana

    2. Spells are based on percent weapon damage so yes

    3. 10

You will be able to see any class basic attack if you try to use an attack while it is on cool down.

Well I just started beta a few days ago, but for barb, he will use basic attacks if you try to use fury consuming attacks without enough fury.

I do not understand how evil walks in the day. Should it not fear the light?

Re: Ask me all your questions

As someone who played WoW for a very long time, but never played D1 or D2, I am curious if the monster difficulty (health pools, damage, etc.) scale depending on how many players you're grouped with?

I am planning on playing in a social fashion with friends more than solo, and I have been intrigued by the idea of Hardcore. So if the monster difficulty is simply dependant on your game setting, then it should hypothetically be easier to complete with a group of friends.

Re: Ask me all your questions

Indeed they do, Damage / Health both scale with the amount of players in the game. and it is easier to complete with a group of friends according to blizzard but you must also coordinate

Re: Ask me all your questions

love my wired corsair m60 mouse on my desktop PC but being able to waive the mx air from the couch on my 60" TV PC in D3 might be kinda cool, unfortunately i've tried 3 different wireless devices and they just don't respond in game (alt+tab out of the game and they work just fine).

Re: Ask me all your questions

Ive always found that wired mouses just seem to be better overall in almost every aspect besides the obvious movement but if it doesnt work ingame then your movement is quite limited anyway lol but i dont think it is the game i believe it is your computer maybe try redownloading or updating the software it doesnt make sense that blizzard would make the game not respond to wireless mouses

Re: Ask me all your questions

could be, i havn't completely troubleshooted it yet. the wireless arc keyboard works fine. will test the wireless devices on my desktop pc and see if i get the same issue or not.

EDIT: serious noob move;) it is just that pc, which just received a new motherboard last friday (so it's some sort of driver issue).
