FRS3: H&H - Bestiary I - The Unburied

: S I Z E S :

2560x1600 - 1920x1200 - 1600x1200

Hey guys, this week I thought it was time for another Fiery Runes Wallpaper. With the update to the d3 bestiary I thought I’d make a wall for the new mob. Now with this wall I tried so many backdrops for the unburied, and none worked. I did some experiments with the old Des Systema, and managed to create a newer, sharper, cleaner version. Now I’ll be able to add my own touches to future walls with it!

This wall as you look at it I can tell you I did a lot more experiments. The way the des-systema is on the ground I had wanted to do for a while now. I just didn’t have a better version of the alchemy circle ‘till now. Also I thought making my fiery runes reflect on the ground was a neat touch giving the Rune, and Alchemy circles more tangibility.

Hope people like this, and enjoy my nice new touch to the fiery runes series. I wanted to make this wall more like my own thing with the rircles. Now that I have a better alchemy circle please expect better clearer uses of this piece. I have much more fun planned in the future, but this week the wall was perfect. It was everything I had hoped and planned for.

Lastly I’ve updated my wiki page Holyknight3000, and created an article for the weekly wallpaper we enjoy each week: Diii.net:Diablo III Weekly Wallpaper and I plan to update it weekly.

With that everyone, enjoy! I’ll see you all next week, and remember questions, and comments always welcome!

HK

Thats a great idea Mizantrop .. HK, maybe you could experiemnt with a varied palette of colors ? I could see some green lighting, or neon purple (like arcane damage) ... hmm

Re: FRS3: H&H - Bestiary I - The Unburied

Well guys i had a new wallpaper made 5 days ago, but one hour after i completed work on it, and it was a green themed wall of a different monster, my hard drive had some issues with it and i may have lost the data on my last 6 wallpapers and various nameplate beta's and more. My brother is currently trying to recover any data i have, but last update wasnt looking good.

He's gunan try one last trick to save my data, otherwise im going to have to rebuild many wallpaper prospects, like that new des systema i used on the unburied and so on. Atleast you guys still can enjoy these last 6 wallpapers i made before i lost everything. When my system is back i will be down for a week or so, so i can rebuild my diablo 3 wallpaper series nameplate, as well as my apple iphone nameplate. This sucks as it would be the worst data loss ive ever experienced.

I just pray my brother can salvage something off my Hard drive before too long. Plus ive been going through some WoW withdrawls as well as graphics art withdrawls. Only thing i can do right now is watch videos, read manga off and online. And lets just say ive watched a few series and read 40+ volume manga series twice.

My sanity is whaning a little...

I hope you'll manage to get your hardrive back HK *cross fingers*
I feel your pain about the wow withdrawls. Most of us had or will have those someday...

Wow, really like the setup you use for your wallpapers. Sorry to hear about your HDD failing, best of luck with that :S

There was actually a whole section on data loss recovery in some sort of (very well known) PC magazine (in fact, it might have just been called "PC Magazine"), either this months or last months issue. (I was bored at work a while ago so I picked it up and took it to my section to read it )
(If you ever get your images/logos/whatnot back, or recreate them, I recommend creating a backup CD or something with them. Though this is most likely something you have already thought about after it happened.)

you know its funny i did back the wallpapers up till about 7 weeks ago when i had to wipe my HDD. Guess ill just have to save my artwork once a month or sooner. May put a slave HDD on the comp when i get it back from my bro, and save all my art there. That way atleast i wont lose it as quick.

Buy external HDD, they are awesome =)

Which, by the way, so is the Unburrowed. Love the light reflections and runes.

Indeed, perhaps you should try Icy, Poisonous or Electrical runes as well?
