Vista Widescreen Resolution

My friend is playing D1 on his computer, but the rez is scaled to fit widescreen. Is there a way to make the rez the way it's meant to be played? Box and NOT widescreen?

Thanks,

Re: Vista Widescreen Resolution

I could partially fix the horrible scaling by changing monitor settings (from the buttons) for each 3:4 fullscreen resolution: I have a "coarse" option that lets me strech video to smaller sizes.

That leaves black areas on the sides, but it's absolutely no problem for me. I had to manually adjust the values to prevent pixel flickering, however, as I don't think there is a perfect standard value for it.

Maybe on new graphic cards there's a no-scaling option for those resolutions?
