Blowdarts

I'm sure all of you remember the little Flayers with their little blowdarts.

So I'm surprised that the Witch Doctor doesn't have a blowdart skill, or even a class-specific blowdart weapon class.

I don't know about you, but somehow I feel that the Witch Doctor should be using one of these. It'd be like arrows, with different tips for different effects.

Re: Blowdarts

I can't envision a blow-dart gun having a very good feeling of "oomph" or power when you use it.. And if it did have an oomph (like exploding darts), I don't think it'd feel very blow-dartish..

I dunno.

Re: Blowdarts

Yep, witch doctors should use those.

Or could be a voodoo doll summon with blowdarts like the flayers O_o.

Re: Blowdarts

I could see the blowdarts as a way to create a fighter WD out of what appears to be a very spell-based class. In the same way the Wizard is being given more melee access, as should the WD.

And I love the idea of using voodoo dolls somehow.

Re: Blowdarts

I'd like to see blowguns/darts and all kinds of funky weapons. Just make the little darts do psn damage; they don't need oomph or physical stoping power. Total paralysis or mass psn damage is enough oomph for me.

When you see so many kinds of swords and axes, you can really notice the redundancy. They should add a bunch of weapons like blowdarts.

Re: Blowdarts

I thought shrunken heads were silly as they were used for blocking. Plus, I guess Charsi is a neurosurgeon since she can repair damaged heads. And hey, aren't they supposed to be shrunken? That makes them too small to block with. A real shrunken head would fit into the palm of your hand.

Shrunken heads would be Ok if you wear them on your belt or as an amy.

I meant shrunken heads in a skill-based way.
