How do I take screenshots of Diablo 1?

I just purchased the original Diablo game. When I press Print-Screen button the screen goes red for a sec. But no screenshot is taken. There's nothing showing up in the diablo folder.

How can I take screenshots? Using any other software will show wrong color pallete instead of 256 colors.

If you're looking in the folder in the 'Start' tab you won't find it. It's located in the d2 folder in program files. To get there click 'My computer' then 'C:' drive, then 'Program files', then 'Diablo II' and finally you should see it there.

Edit: Careful not to touch anything else in that folder, it will make d2 not work.

the screenshots go to the programfiles/diablo folder, but they are .pcx format, so you might not see them if you're only looking for jpgs. You need to convert them to jpg or gif to post them online, but that's what photoshop is for. Fraps might work in D1, but I've never tried it... ?
