So... Mana or Stamina/Fury?

What's the verdict on what Barbarians use to power their skills? Anyone from Blizzcon?

Hopefully, not mana. The idea of brute force warriors using mana makes me cringe.

It's Fury.
I saw some screenshots (see another thread) where a new skilldescription is shown. it mentions Fury:

Battle Rage
The Barbarian enters a rage which increases damage done by 100% and increases Critical Hit damage with 50%.
Lasts for 15 seconds.
Fury cost: 50.

Re: So... Mana or Stamina/Fury?

Yes, the system runs off of Fury. Whenever you deal regular (aka "white") damage or are damaged in return it slowly builds up the Fury bubble. The system is very reminiscent of WoW and its Rage system for warriors and bear druids.

There is a cool difference, though. If you can manage to fill your Fury bubble to the top, the entire bubble glows a strange red/orange color like its teeming with power and energy. I'm not sure if this effect enhances the damage of your next attack (or there is some other way to "release" this effect) but it was an interesting detail.

So there is a fury bubble, but what about Stamina?

Where are these bubbles located compared to HP/MP bubbles normal position?

Where'd you guys get all this information, I looked at nearly all the panels, and never saw any stamina/fury things (I just like to see things directly from the source to read all I can out of them).

The Fury bubble replaces the caster mana bubble, so it's to the right of the main UI bar. Not sure about Stamina, I didn't do any running and not sure it was an option to be honest.

I played the demo at BlizzCon.

Edit:

Here is a picture of me playing the demo, in which you can see the UI setup pretty clearly. Just to quell any misconceptions, the Fury bubble is an empty orb where the usual mana bubble would be, directly to the right of the toolbar:

Re: So... Mana or Stamina/Fury?

The concept of Fury may be just ruining for the barb PvP-wise...!

That would be fixed, it's a pretty obvious issue. PvP and PvE can never be the same.
