Fiery Runes Series Two - Locations III - Ureh

: S I Z E S :

2650x1600 V1 & V21920x12001680x10501600x12001280x10241024x768

Another week another fiery runes wall, this week, granted another artist beat me to these locations; I’m still bringing my version. This week I have Ureh. I really wished there was a better image of Ureh besides the shot in the cinematic trailer. The 2650 size image was harder than the rest combined, it wouldn’t match the others in placement of the image. The top part of the huge building above the city on the cliff was chopped off. I left that image be anyway, but that is why I have two versions of it, choose which one you like.

Had a person make a post this week about my work being repetitive, and most of you guys in the community know I’ve come leaps and bounds since I began back in July when I posted that “MS Paint – Cinematic Demon V1”, and I’m planning for better on each new series I bring out. I’m also building up for Blizzcon as well.

With that I’m heading back to work on my next wall; Tristram looks like it needs some justice done...

See you next week!

Comments welcome, only payment we fan artists get as Flux said before!

Re: Fiery Runes Series Two - Locations III - Ureh

By the way ive been doing some tinkering, if you look at the runes i know some have good sharp monitors, probably notice them. But when i was looking at one of my 1680x1050 wallpapers on my dad's monitor that has that size, i completely saw the super jagginess that were my runes. I about died inside, they look great on my monitor, but think about it guys. Im building these walls all the way to a 30 inch monitor, while still using the 1024x768 size.

Begging for a new monitor soon so badly. So to my point, im rebuilding the runes from the original images again, only this time, they aint so tiny anymore. Here's a hint for you. Im rebuilding the rune circle on a 10600x6400 image file, and they take up about 1/8th of the image alone just one rune and im rebuilding the runecircle. Expect the clarity of my work to soar soon. I'm a determined person when it comes to my wall art. I hate jaggies with a passion, but had to let it give some when i made images as big as i do.

So expect better images and better looking runes, oh and did i mention, yeah i plan on a 3rd series, and possibly many more in the future.

See ya soon, off to tinker!

It's been a while since I checked the wallapapers. Your series two are very impressive Good design, the strange symbols in a circular background matches very well with the runes. This will be my new wallapaper for a while now :P

I can see that you improve your skills a lot by doing all this work. It's nice to see people with passion. Don't think you're doing this for no reason, I'm sure it will pay off in the future :P Even if I can't see any difference on my small notebook monitor you're doing a very good work, keep it up!

Re: Fiery Runes Series Two - Locations III - Ureh

hey gamekk it has been a while huh, thanks for the comment. Yeah i updated my fiery runes on the tristram wall, and had a few people tell me to tone down the runes some cause they were too bright. Might be because they weren't use to them being so clear, lol.

Anyways i already have a kind of plan for series 3, well at least a nameplate tweak, the last two series ive thought which walls to use/make on the fly.

We'll see what happens, gunna ask the community what they think they'd like to see for series 3.

Good to see you again, and hopefully again soon gamekk.
