Let's make a Diablo podcast!

Hola guys! Como estas!

Was just sitting here and mulling things over hmm. Does anyone here want to start a Diablo podcast where we get together once a week over the Internet and discuss all great things Diablo? It would be pretty fun I think mm.

You'd need a microphone, headphones, a fast Internet connection, and a loud, talkative personality to boot. It would be quite a fun activity to do I think.

I've been a big fan of Diablo for a long time and when I heard the news about Diablo III... well!

In terms of the podcast itself, I have all the gear already and have been podcasting for about 3 years now so I can record and mix shows very quickly and get them all online pronto and listed in iTunes yadda yadda yadda. ^_^

The only hitch now is finding the right people to host it, people who are out there, nice voice, can talk for hours on end. You know, charismatic people who have something interesting to say and is passionate about Diablo.

You don't have to have experience hosting (but if you do, that is a big plus). As long as you have lots of personality and are a genuine fan of the game, it should be quite fun and a nice way for the community to get involved. We'll end up with a three-man team.

For anyone out there who want something else to do outside playing Diablo (when it is finally released), just record a short 1-3 minute segment of yourself talking as you would be on the show - any particular aspect of Diablo itself - that will give me an indication of what your hosting style is then upload it and PM me a link to it. Then I'll move on from there.

Hehe btw long time lurker who finally registered. Been playing since Diablo 1. Hope my first post isn't too full on jajaja.

I'm interested in the concept, but what's the hook for people to want to listen? Something other/more than just some forum people rehashing issues we've already seen in forum posts?

Well, maybe it will be interesting to do a podcast+debate on all the things people like/dislike in D3 and the differences from previous games.
Each cast will have a different topic like art/shoulder pads/necromancer...
2 people with different opinions on the matter+host that will keep things civlized.

Ohh I see. Hmm that's the thing about the net which I don't like - it's so hard to convey feeling in text so its hard to see what the other person is really trying to say.

Oh there is always something to talk about - way better things to do than to sit and read out what the latest posts are.
