Hi Hardcore's..
atm i'm playing a paladin, soloing everything on B.Net.
i'm level 40, and haven't died yet, so i was wondering;
is it harder/easier soloing on HC than on regular B.net? i mean, without dying.
No, it's no harder or easier to solo there is just the risk of permanent death, which creates the illusion of it being harder since you must be more careful to stay alive. Also you must devote more to survival skills instead of pure offensive builds.
I'd say it's a bit harder if you like to rely on groups to get you through the places you're not good at. In hc, the tppk problem makes such endevors unthinkable to many.
If you try your best not to die in softcore as well like I do, you'll find hardcore to be identical, the only difference being at some point when you maybe make a mistake and die, your character is gone. Which I find to be nothing more than overzealously punishing yourself when you don't need to (like chopping your head off because you spilled your milk), but since others clearly enjoy it, that's totally up to them and it's good to have an option between the two, regardless.
Yeah I guess it is harder to make it 95+ in HC since when the playing time of your character increases the chances to make mistage or get lag or whatever increase and if you are unlucky you lose the character for good. There isn't any other differences.
