Diablo 3 will not be any darker

Confirmed that the colour style will not change.

it was said by developer Jay Wilson in an interview with mtv multiplayer. i dont have link to actual interview, but i have link to article about interview.

Agreed, since I like the direction they've taken from a gameplay point of view I have no problems with it. And I'm glad they're not listening to very vocal minority.

Well....if you want it darker, why not just turn down the Gamma? Diablo 2 has that option and most modern games do too

Because, no matter how many times it is suggested to just alter the gamma, adjusting that does not add wear and tear to the environment or add doodads and decals that are crucial for creating a dark atmosphere.
