question about cd keys?

hello ^^

playing diablo2 has gotten boring, so i decided to go to diabo1.
my question is this :: is there a cd key for this game, or would the cd just load it?
i had the game, but lost it. i was considering buying it online, but i did not want to buy it used if a cd key is required.

None of the commercial Diablo or Hellfire CDs that own require a cd key. My answer would be no they do not require a CDkey. I don't even think they have one.

Nope, Diablo don't have a cd-key, so if you have backed up your copy to a CD/to your HD, you can just install it and even play it in the battle.net
