A little note about Leoric in video

Just another little note in the video after the WD joins and they leave the tomb the name of the area is Leoric Highlands.

I'm guessing this is in reference to King Leoric who as you may recall, one of the first quests in D1 is to set King Leorics soul at ease by killing his skeletal king form.

The King ruled from that church in Tristram as I recall. Was it the Horadrim Monastery? Anyways that might give people a clue as to where the gameplay demo takes place geographically since the location is named Leoric Highlands.

Re: A little note about Leoric in video

It was stated already that Cain was down in the Tristram Cathedral looking for tomes of knowledge.

The gameplay video is the Tristram Monestary, as we bump into Cain down there.

The exit they take leads into the Leoric Highlands. Leoric was King of the lands before Diablo attempted to possess him, which drove him mad. No surprise that he had lands named after him.
