Something to steal from Titan Quest

One of the nice elements of Titan Quest was that they had a small amount of added new content when playing through on their equivalents of Nightmare Level and Hell Level. A cave that didn't have much of anything in it in Normal suddenly has 3 more levels and a new epic boss monster at the end, for example.

I don't want huge new acts for each of the difficulty levels, but small amounts of extra bonus content for each difficulty level would add some flavor and make you feel like you're getting something new for the runthrough.

I agree on this
It was quite cool.

Loved the swamp that was empty on normal and epic, but suddenly had a huge hydra (iirc) on legendary.

And actually, its not something all new to Diablo. Dclone only spawns on Hell

Yes I agree...

I never ever felt the need to play diablo II on hell because there were no surprices or new things...

They should do this in diablo III! Don't mind the stealing as Titan Quest stole the entire diablo concept...

Well, on the realms, there is a reason to play Hell, Dclone and Ubers.
But if you play single player, yeah, there is no reason. Except for the challenge.

Re: Something to steal from Titan Quest

Seeing some differences between nightmare and hell would be nice. Difficulty-specific quests, or at the very least, different rewards for a given quest on two difficulties. Ideally I'd like to see a game long enough that we don't need three difficulties, and it would simply be an enormous journey of Norse-epic proportions. It would take ages to make though, imagine if D2 had nine fifteen individual acts, though that would be a bit discouraging for someone without a whole summer to invest in it.
