Necromancer sketch

Tonight I did a quick sketch in homage to the first Diablo II character I ever tried, the Necromancer:



I thought the game was impossible during that first run. Skeletons blocking my retreat after passing through each portal in the Arcane Sanctuary, Duriel 1-shotting me the first three times I made it into his cave, watching a 40+ skeleton army crumble from one of Diablo's fire rings...

Good times. Fun, challenging, memorable.

I hope he makes a return for the third game.

I'm gonna summon turb so he can summon a barb which summons a golem;

That's awesome! I live with a bunch of artists, but none of them are that good, imo.

It's really looking like the Witchdoctor's replacing the Necromancer, but that's alright. If Wall of Zombies is as awesome as it looks, I'm willing to forgive them - and I ONLY play necros.

I love the idea of the Necromancer, and he was my first as well, but he seems to get more worthless further into the game, eh?
