Project Hydra Possible Explaination

So everyone knows that Mephesto, Diablo, and Baal were together the three prime evils, but since they died I've been wondering who would be the main antagonist for D3.

After watching the trailer again it hit me, the "Diablo" in the trailer had 3 heads. I know that people have already made that connection as to that being what Hydra could have been referring to. To add onto that a bit, my theory is:

What if the three headed "Diablo" is really the three brothers (the three prime evils) merged together?

(sorry if this has already been discussed!)

Re: Project Hydra Possible Explaination

It has been discussed, though I can't remember where with all the speculation I'm participating in. I think the short of it is that it can be made to work, and would make for one epic final boss fight. Notably, Diablo is alway noted as the strongest of the Three, so it makes sense that a combination would principally look like Diablo.

I personally like the idea, because it provides a very new boss to deal with, and a progression of power within the lore. And hopefully drops better than Isenhart's Case. :P

It doesn't look like 3 heads, it looks like shoulders (armor) or the form of the skin has taken... possibly from being transformed from something, or many things...

Doesn't look like 3 heads to me.

Looks like one head on an upper torso with multiple mouths.
