I want loot too.
No more level 1s in dueling games looting the loser, no more poor losers leaving before I can loot them, I want loot as a default in HC duels. I'd love to have it in PKing too, but that might be asking too much ~_~

How about something like this for a new system:
-you are only allowed to have loot set to 1 player at a time (to prevent them giving loot to their friend and to you)
-if you die, and have loot set to a player, and that player dies, you may give loot to another player who was in the game at the time of your death so that if something blows up and half your group dies in PvM, including your looter, you can still get your loot back, it would still require remembering to set loot ahead of time
-HC corpses stay in the game after the player leaves, for a fairly short amount of time, 5 minutes or so, to prevent someone leaving the game out of spite after they lost fair and square
I think that set of changes would make loot dueling in it's current form somewhat more viable.
Or possibly just something like this:
Create a specific dueling ground, both players must agree to enter it (this is for dueling specifically, the hostile button for PKing would still have to be there ~_~), hostility and loot are automatically set between the two players. Nobody else may enter the area until both players leave, preventing both interference and somebody else from jacking the loot. And again, the corpse must remain after the player leaves. Ideally such a dueling ground that didn't set loot wouldn't exist, encouraging players to duel for loot with the benefit of not having interference when they do, people who didn't want to loot duel could still just go to the blood moor or whatever and duke it out, but then they'd have the risk of getting jumped by other players.
