Gem Activated...Gem Deactivated!

Lol <3 My favourite part of their website so far is the little gem, very much similar to the one in-game! Got a little curious, tried clicking it....my god! It activates! :3

Re: Gem Activated...Gem Deactivated!

It doesn't. I decompiled it already. All it does is change it's color from Blue to Purple. Some thread was made on the battle.net forums saying it gives you a demo, but no proof has been given. A crap photoshop was attempted, but it was easy to tell.

Re: Gem Activated...Gem Deactivated!

From what I can recall the gem was had no purpose in diablo 2 other than to activate and deactivate. It also has no purpose on the website other than to activate and deactivate. I think blizzard likes to tease curious people's minds from time to time. I can't blame them for it. The forum thread on the diablo 3 forums that suggests it gives a demo should be locked it isn't nice to mislead people and have them waste their time; even if only a small majority actually falls for the scam.
