Having a chat with another forumite the other day, and I asked whether he felt D3 would stay PC or go for a console-based option.
The consoles have come on a lot from the plug in a cartridge and play days; they have net and hard drives. Some even are fairly stable. I don't think anyone can argue with the graphics capabilities.
So what do you think?
PC?
Console?
Cross platform?

I played D1 on the PS1 before I played it on the computer, and while it wasn't bad I can't see myself playing D2 on a console. Not knowing what concept D3 is going to be I'm going to say that I would probably only play it on a PC. The exception to this is if the game takes a turn and becomes keyboard based movement, not unlike a FPS (though I wouldn't want the game itself to be a FPS).

Pc and console. Even the good old ps2 had two usb ports, enabling one to connect a mouse and a keyboard, so controls wise, I don't see a problem. For consoles without such an option, it's quite a different matter.
PC duh, its the only one easily available to the masses.
Console out of the question.
Just like Diablo on the PSX was out of the question, or D2 on the PS2 was out of the question, hmm? Both of those platforms sold over 100 million units each, so I'm not sure how much more the masses could've bought them. In fairness, I doubt the Diablo games sold that well - but well enough to make a profit, no doubt.
The real question is, which console will be judged the most potentially profitable this time?
