Help with TCP/IP connection.

My friend and I are trying to play with our single player guys, but whenever i make a game on open multiplayer, he can't join and whenever he makes one i can't join.
When i try to make a tcp/ip game he get's "server down" or something, and same thing happens when he makes.

my whole diablo 2 career i've never been able to make diablo 2 games on open multiplayer.

can anyone help?

(BTW: We're not going on closed b-net because there's no players-8. ktnxbye.)

Hi raw, you need to forward your ports in order to MP. Go`to portforward.com and follow the instructions for forwarding your ports. If you have any further questions, post in the technical issues thread (also in the MP sub-forum) There are some really knowledgeable players out there. Hope this helps..
