They are items, and they have been duped.

you can find the stats on many of the old ones here on the DoNotTradeList for the marketplace/trade forum. most of those listed are old NL per lod rares, i'm not sure if the list have been updated with newer dupes but i'm sure it should be. in NL you'll see games up all the time asking for them and even now on Ladder i've seen a few games where ppl seem to be asking for items by names (most often they will be dupes)

Hmm, as far as I can count, the "10 characters" stipulation wasn't necessary there.

Apart from crafting, no, you can't. That is the best answer I can give you, trust me on that.

The termed "Duped" pretty much means the item has been somehow copied by bugs/programs. The item creation..certain programs may make that possible...Not that I have any experience in this. Doing so, is stupid because you will get your cd key banned and guess what! you get the buy the game AGAIN!!!! you know how much fun that is.

But...With Neverwinter Nights you can make all the items you want and it takes few simple minutes to get a player to the max level. (unlike the grusome million hours to get an character to level 99 in Diablo 2) And the best of all!!!!!!!! wait for it........ YOU CAN MAKE SHINY ARMOR!!!!!! w00t w00t!!!!!!!!! :o ok im getting really of topic here....
