BTW: most items (the Homunculus for instance) are 1.09. only the obvious elite uniques are guaranteed 1.10. also all items are softcore and I do not use any rune mods or debated MF techniques (for the moment ).

unfortunately, the 9%LL is only 156%ED. I have a 189%ED but with only 5%LL.

I would stick a zod in it IF I EVER find one. I may also upgrade it first to an elite version. But of course, having the eth high ed flank is the easier first step.

Thanks for the eth Bonehew offer but I don't collect ethereal items for an ethereal grail. An eth messerschmidt's maybe.

It's been done in the past. I won't do the math, but if an exceptional has 492max dmg, just imagine what an upgraded one could do. IMHO, worth it.

edit: Neckromancer beat me to it. Though I never made a spearazon (my only one got lost in the 1xs...), I do have the memories of a post in the amazon forum, with someone showing off his with an eth licanders, 7xx max dmg :drool:. I'm guessing the elite one would be in the 1k range?
