Spirit of Barbs in pvp

Was just thinking of an experimentally build, that might work in pvp. Max wolves and bear + max spirit of barbs. Aiming for +25 to summoning skills, and at that lvl the spirit would return 930% dmg, the bear would have 6875-9375 life, and 5683-5853 damage. So, my question is, is the %dmg returned cut in 1/10 as with Thorns, when active on the bear?

So would Spirit of Wolverine be better for huggy bear then? Still almost 100% dmg returned with the Spirit of Barbs though.. Hmm.

sob has its uses, particularly vs. ww barbs/zealots and what not. I suggest using spirit wolves for that, though. If you want to take out a caster using a summoner, then perhaps oak sage is better so they might get a hit in? Were I to do a pvp summoner (and I have considered it), then this is probably how I would go.

Max:: Oak sage, grizzly, Spirit wolves, one point ravens, Max poison creeper, rest spirit of barbs....probably get all maxed pretty easily. I wouldn't go with dire wolves because the last thing you need is melee leeching off of your summons.

Players leech a ton of life off summons. I dont think SOB will have the desired effect.

wolves, maybe, but it is mighty hard to leech off of that nasty old spirit (you can't leech off of spirits). It still has its uses for splitting zeals/furies and keeping whirlers busy.

Lesse. 930% damage returned, cut down to about 93% damage returned.

Someone hits my bear for 1k damage, it's gunna hurt them a lot more than my bear. Don't forget to take into leech penelties in hell. Even if I they had that ******** 64% leech ammy, they'd still take a buttload of damage after that thing was cut down to like 20%.

Of course, you gotta take the damage reduce thing into effect... 50% damage reduce would turn that 93% into about 40%. If you could amp them somehow it would turn that 93% into 150% or so tho

At any rate, you are better off just getting a bramble aura if you wanna do that. More % returned, still on all the time, effects j00r bears. Of course then I guess you can't wear enigma. As if I could afford either of those armors anyways :/
