OT: About the forum wipe

I know you'll probably lock this thread BB, but still, I think it's fair that members have a chance to comment on your actions, even if it's not going to change anything

Frankly, I think you've overreacted by deleting all the threads in this forum, and it was partially your fault, for not devoting enough time to the forum (going afk for one week isn't exactly my idea of tending to your forum, and it's not the first time). You can say none were worth reading, but I don't really agree with that. There were guides, there were questions about pvp builds asked and answered, and interesting content if you went through all the posts, even if most of them weren't worth the time spent reading them

No offense, but to me it looks as if you didn't want to spend your time telling the good posts from the bad ones, and took the easiest option by deleting them all. If you no longer have time to spend moderating this forum in a normal way, as all other moderators do, maybe you should consider resigning from your mod position, as I did, and let another person take care of it...

Just my opinion of course, if you deem it as deserving a punishment, it's your call

I just want to show my support for Rag's post. A lot of good info went missing, from the top of my head: Jowy's blizzard sorc advice, Pyrexial's (sorry about the name slip) mini guide from just the other day, numerous zon advice given to Sopper, and quite a few other older posts.
We now have a clean forum where people can once again come to ask the same old and, well, rather dumb questions.

Imho, no. Freedom of speech is a nice thing

:-/ Ash has a good point...

And about the main topic:

Harsh? yes.
Justified? yes.

I follow this forum passively, I'm intrested but I don't feel I have the experience to comment. The usefull posts on page 1 and 2 were countable on on one hand... A clean swipe is a rather, how shall I put it, drastic thing to do, but you can't say there wasn't any warning.
EDIT:But the guides and Faq's etc should have been saved. Forgot to mention that :o

I'll be different and show support to BB's decision. Some good posts went poof, but if that's the price to pay for getting this forum back to even decent level, then so be it. The "leetness"/flaming was getting ridicilous. If clear warnings doesn't work, maybe this will.

I support bloem because... who else would want to be pvp moderator?? I have nightmares about it!

and I don't support this kind of criticism of the moderator, there are good intentions but there is too much potential for bad for it to be worthwhile IMO
