While executing the moat trick, Meph surprised me by actually going onto the bridge and nearly killing me. After being in front of the portal he seemed unable to move at all. When he died, he dropped items onto the bridge and I was able to tele directly on top of the portal.
I was under the impression that Meph couldn't walk on the bridge to the portal? Or am I just dumb?
