New Character Classes

If Blizzard were to make a D3 (and not some sort of World of Diablo) I would think one of the essensials they'd need is new character classes. Perhaps keep some of the old favorites, but, with nothing new no one would buy. So, if you're a Blizzard character designer of sorts, what kind of new character classes would you like to see?

A friend of mine mentioned he'd love to be a gloam.. but I'm not sure how fesible that is.

This subject has been talked about...don't really feel like looking it up. My top choice though was an alchemist...I went rather in-depth about some of my ideas at the time...but right now I'm too tired to describe them all.

Some kind of sorcerer. I'd like some "real" magic like illusionist spells, conjuration and such. And I really would appreciate to be able to choose male or female character. I still think it feels weird to play a female character.
Angel would be nice too, or devil

I think multiple genders of classes would be a good idea. Basically, for the current classes, that would mean male and female iterations of most classes (except Zon and Barb...set them opposite to each other since reallly buff woman scare me). Can't think of new classes...eyes in pain....

I've liked the idea of some kind of character that could use the 2-handed staffs that sorcs usually use. Some of those have some fun physical and elemental damage and putting that to use with some kind of spell-casting medival martial artist would be fun. Martial arts different than the Assn of course. Maybe give them some sort of class specific armor (like a cape?) that has spell-type skills on it. Maybe a skill to freeze time, reduce damage taken, go invisible to certain monster types (undead) for a short period of time... etc.

I'd like to see a Jacko character. He'd own in PvP as long as you had your Molestation Mastery maxed.

Female barb could look like Anya. But I think a male Zon would be anathematic.

You are both wrong. The female barbarian would be Hilary Clinton.
