If you had read the article, you would have realized that it only shows one thing. "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."
The article failed to mention what form the data took. Of course it was a time series, but was it in fahrenheit, or celcius? The conversion distorts comparative relationships, so doing your analysis on degrees fahrenheit numbers can hide a trend or make one appear. Of course the article didn't link to a file with the data, so no one can verify that it was accurate data.
The Dog Ate Global Warming
Interpreting climate data can be hard enough. What if some key data have been fiddled?
Imagine if there were no reliable records of global surface temperature. Raucous policy debates such as cap-and-trade would have no scientific basis, Al Gore would at this point be little more than a historical footnote, and President Obama would not be spending this U.N. session talking up a (likely unattainable) international climate deal in Copenhagen in December.
Steel yourself for the new reality, because the data needed to verify the gloom-and-doom warming forecasts have disappeared.

Once again, your detailed rebuttals are breathtaking in scope.
On a more interesting note, I found this in a copy of the Wall Street Journal I was reading last week. Hardly surprising, given that this is the EPA we're talking about, but it's nice to know our government is dedicated to seeking the truth, rather than playing politics. /sarcasm

Apparently you didn't read it either. I see the link no longer works though, so maybe you just didn't get the chance to read it.
There was no need to pick it apart point by point because it fell to pieces all on its own. There were more buts in that article than there are on Skinemax.

A brand spankin' new study in Science shows that, at least in the Arctic Ocean, the waters are warming and there is increased CO2 in the oceans. If you have access to the magazine read it, it's a fairly short paper. If you don't have access to it, if I were PMed and asked nicely I may/may not be able to provide a copy...title follows:
Aragonite Undersaturation in the Arctic Ocean: Effects of Ocean Acidification and Sea Ice Melt
Basically it is hard numbers on the amount of aragonite (what shellfish, fish, and plankton, among other animals, use to make shells, etc.) found in the waters as well as other easily measured parameters like dissolved inorganic carbon, oxygen/CO2 levels, temperature, salinity, etc. The study was done over a 10-12 year period and shows obvious warming. It doesn't directly attribute the warming to man, but the connections are fairly obvious.
