Skill Tree Calculators - Feedback & Suggestions

Here are the shiny new calculators for the skill trees known so far : http://diablo.incgamers.com/skilltrees/

These have been created by acjohnso who has done a bang up job of making them slick and user-friendly. Feedback and suggestions are welcome as is any note on stats that have changed over time. Please leave any of that in this thread and either acjohnso will get to it if it requires programming or if it's something server side, like a simple stat change, one of us will do it.

In the meantime have a play and imagine it's the real thing

I think this is a step in the right direction. This will be the most fun to argue over the next few months. And maybe this won't be scrapped a dozen times.
And too bad the monk is still largely missing.
Why cant blizzard give us some more.

One point i'd note is that if rituals remains among the witch doctor skills it may require stats are enterable to provide accurate damage results.
That said its still looks and feels great, i can see myself using it alot. Kudos to acjohnso

As for suggestions, I think if possible it would be great to provide a small window on the side that shows the stats and attributes of the character .. this way we will know how each skill will affects the various stats (primary and secondary attributes alike).

If it requires too much calculations to calculate the effect of each and every stat-affecting-skill then it's ok if you don't add it .. i just felt like suggesting it when i first tried the calculator.

The calculator even shows what happens as you invest deeply into the various skills. I'm wondering if the information is accurate. If so, how was it known and how recently?

The skill information came from the wiki, which is constantly being updated with the latest D3 data. Blizzcon '09 provided most of the information about the skills in their current form. As more information is released, the wiki and the skill trees will be updated.

acj: Very impressive. I checked out your design work too - I love your graphic art & design style. The drtgaming menu is awesome

There are a couple minor suggestions:
- The reset button isn't the most intuitive and might be better split into three (one for each tree).
- There may (or may not) be a bug whereby "previous tier" is being interpreted as across all 3 trees and not in its respective tree alone. I'm going to assume that due to the WoW interface Blizz is using that it will also follow the tree isolation (as it did with D2 as well).

From a design perspective I think this would be a good place to use Ajax instead of loading a lot of the images over and over when you switch between classes. The tooltip background images might also be pre-loaded as they tend to fail to fully load/display properly on the first try in some browsers.
