Re: Monk weaponry

Considering the part of the Monk's introduction trailer where the Morlu Caster breaks the Monk's bo (staff) into two smaller pieces (given that it wasn't just set up and weapons still can break in DIII (durability?)) it only would make sense to include kali/escrima/whatever-they-are-called fighting sticks.

This even could be a neat feature for the all new weapon customization system(s) the devs succesfully avoid to lose any details about - wouldn't it be neat if the player could decide whether he wants to use the staff or intentionally break the staff in half and use the two parts as fighting sticks (single or dual wielding) instead?

Mh, I don't know... just a thought.
And probably not "awesome" enuff for DIII anyway.

Id like to see bearfists get a speed bonus but where the damage could come from besides being inherent in the skill I dont know(maybe Strength/Dexterity but straight damage rather than %).

Re: Monk weaponry

i think the weps will work great you equip the fist blades and they boost the attack damage for things like seven sided strike or way of hundred fists or you can equip the staff for impentrable defense or you may be able to do impentrable defense without the staff?

Perhaps only usable with a staff. It could be similar to how a mastery only functions on a per-weapon basis.
