    Figuring out DPS

    http://d3up.com/b/679971/undefined#gear

So I don't know if this site is ok to post here or not, if not Delete the thread. Im trying to figure out my DPS if I swap in a magunas knife but cannot figure it out. Is there an EASY way to do this besides watching all the videos??

    Re: D3Up.com

Click the Compare/Simulate gear, then click either modify/compare and select the item from dropdown (if you ever had the item equipped when syncing from bnet, it will show there) or click simulate and adjust the stats manually according to for example AH.
Alternatively you can manually create new item in the items -> create new item menu which you can then use in the modify/compare selection.

Try and resync with battle net so you get the equipped weapon to show up.

Then you can go to My D3UP -> My Items and copy your main hand to a new item. Modify it and go to Gear -> Simulate and choose the new item. Should work

Wow, tDS, that is strange. I use D3up a lot and haven't ever seen it act like that. To get around it, I did a "Create New Build" and entered your Battletag, and it brought up fresh information that looks accurate:

Hope it works out for you; I love that site.

Aint that the truth, but I finally figured it out. seems Id gain about 12K dps with a 850 damage Manajumas, and most importantly Life Steal which I currently do not have... http://d3up.com/b/679971/mrcrowley

    Re: Figuring out DPS

The thing that isn't necessarily super obvious with weapons is that you have to enter the damage range and attacks per second in the little boxes, then d3up will calculate the actual dps of the weapon along with all the min/max/str/vit etc., numbers that you also have to enter.
    Eschew obfuscation!
