    The "Last" of the Horadrim

    Hey guys,

so there is a simple question concerning me when watching the new Reaper of Souls Cinematic.

We see Tyrael and 4 Horadrim... so ... where the hell do they come from?

As far is i know , Deckard Cain was the Last of the Horadrim but yet we see 4 more coming out of nowhere and (poorly) try to protect the Black Soulstone?

    Did I miss something?

I hope you guys can bring some light into this.

Presumably Tyrael founds a new group of Horadrim following the end of D3.

tyrael just recruited a bunch of new horadrim followers and he chose these members because their fathers were probably part of the horadrim in the past.

With Cain, the horadrim were extinct.

Tyrael created the original Order of the Horadrim. Nothing stopping him from reviving it.

The Book of Tyrael is going to chronicle Tyrael's journey throughout sanctuary during a brief self-imposed exile from Heaven following the events of D3. I'm sure the book will go into some of the details of who he finds to recreate the order.

In the novel "The Order" Cain encountered a group of Horadrim want-to-be. Some of them survived the events in the novel and likely formed a new Horadric Order.

Also I am wondering when ROS takes place from the end of Diablo 3, in terms of passage of time.

    Most likely "shortly after".
