Well, of course. Just look at WoW.

Do you really think they implemented the transmogrifcation system only to make players happy when they can use their old gear designs? Or to boost \'old world content\' for acquiring the transmog source gear? These are pretty much inferior goals when they focus developement time into basic systems nowadays.

The decicive motivation behind the creation of such a system is the ability to sell transmog gear through their (in-game)store, of course. Don\'t forget they we\'ve long been charging $25 for selected \'exclusive\' mount skins now.

Agree totally. Only reason for transmog in d3 is to pave the way for item store full of cosmetics. In wow, you can show off mastery of older raids, which each had unique gear. Or go hunting for items that look cool that drop from specific bosses. Recently, they have added gear you can buy for dollars that is explicitly for tranmog.

Transmog in d3 makes no sense. Unless expansion adds some huge changes.

Why? Some of the high level stuff looks ridiculous and some of the low level stuff looks pretty cool.

It would be the graphic designers working on this. They're not gonna pull away gameplay people to work on aesthetic parts of the game. They wouldn't even be qualified.

    really ?
then why in the world do they have a RMAH ?

perhaps they realize the RMAH is a big failure and they\'re ditching it in hte expansion and replacing it with microtransactions

I think Players should somehow be able to change the Color of Legendaries. Maybe special \"Found\" dyes, or a Quest that gives you a One-Time Ability (every time you complete the quest) to dye one Legendary, or maybe some NPC in a \"Weird\" place, who, after you kill some boss, drops a dye or... whatever...

But mostly, I miss getting one chance per character to Socket one Item. That was kinda cool.

Insert mandatory, \"there\'s more than one person working on the game and they can do more than one thing at a time\" remark here.
