    Re: Real American Pre-Season Football

Broncos is who I hope wins (after the Lions who have no shot).

If I was a betting man, I'd probably spread money on the 49ers and the Broncos.

I just can't believe in the Falcons (not that I want to), the Patriots or the Texans this (or any other) year.

And I would bet my house against the Ravens repeating.

Seattle isn't quite ready, the Packers have holes even with Rodgers, the Bears have a rotten OLine, and the Redskins live and die with one player. And the Bengals are not a team you want to play, but they need at least another year.

Gun to my head, the final 4 are Broncos, Steelers, 49ers and ..... I know this will kill me .... Falcons. There, I said it, Falcons. You can now replace that with Giants, Packers or Bears and profit. Obviously, the elephant in the room is New England, but not this year.

A little pre-season evaluation for the Saints

Both young receivers have been playing well and I get the impression the Saints will find a way to work both Stills and Toon into the offense over the course of the season. They're calling it a competition for the #3 job, but they're both going to get a lot of snaps, that's how the Saints offense works. The front 7 was pretty good, picking up 5 sacks in the first half and stuffing up the running game, of course it was the Raiders, but with the amount of injuries among the LBs it was still good to see them play well. Seneca Wallace seems like a longshot to make the team now after he just ate it this game, 3/6 with a fumble for a TD and a INT? Yea, that's not so hot. Hopefully the secondary comes together over the course of the pre-season because Flynn didn't look to have too much trouble with gaining yards, hopefully they won't need 7 sacks a game just to hold the opposing offenses in check because that's just asking too much.
