Already have a leap barb using daggers. I think that counts.

Re: Under Powered and Under Rated builds

Some off-the-wall builds I've been having fun with for years:

A cold armor sorceress. She is currently level 77 and questing in Act II Hell. She has maxed frozen/shiver/chilling armors, a point in cold mastery and teleport, and 15 points in thunder storm. She swings a ribcracker, wears a high defense stone runeworded armor, armors up with a +3 cold skills orb on weapon switch, and recasts among the three armors frequently depending on what she's fighting. Frozen armor is great against a single opponent, and with full synergies, she and merc get plenty of time to beat the frozen enemy down. But she has to actually take damage in order for FA to actually freeze the attacker, so she needs to be careful of possible OHKs for that skill. Shiver armor damages melee foes every single time they swing, whether they hit or not. The higher defense she has, the less often they hit. And it doesn't take very many +skill items to make SA's damage significant and noticeable. Chilling armor's damage against ranged attackers is less impressive, and is best used in conjunction with teleport to close ranks and make enemies use their missile attacks at point-blank.

A charged-bolt-sentry assassin. Right now she's level 80 and questing in Act III hell, with maxed shadow master and CBS, and synergies of 15 in fire blast, nine in shock web, twelve in lightning sentry, and a single point in death sentry. She also has a point in fade and a point in blade fury. Her primary weapons are a couple of +3 CBS claws, and her secondary weapons are strength runeworded suwayyahs that she uses with blade fury against LI/FI foes. CBS is a very fun alternative focus for a trapper. Deploying these drains 35% less mana than deploying LS, DS, or WoI traps. Learning to place them with tactical precision next to enemies provides more of a fun challenge than does spamming the other traps. And after she or the shadow master gets tired of softening up stuff with the flagship CBS traps, they can still deploy reasonably strong versions of the other traps when in the mood: fire blast grenades with close to 500 average damage, lightning sentries with close to 600 average damage per zap, and death sentries with up to ten 'splodies in each.
