    I feel you.

He is right though, we subsidize corn for no good reason and I really do not like it being mixed with gasoline. I think it eats away at gaskets of old cars, and I know it's less efficient. I was just commenting on how striking it was of a difference. Red meat is so tasty. And I think it's good for you. At least as long as you don't eat too much--but that's like anything else. Plus, it's not just the price, but also the cuts you find at the regular grocery store are terrible too. I have to go to a guy out in the boonies to get a decent steak. Sad.

I say they should figure out a way to trap the methane and burn it for fuel. Problem solved.

You can't swim in lava, it's too dense. You'd float in it. They just always get it wrong in movies.

I'm not disagreeing or questioning what JMervyn said. I'm just saying that he's saying I said something I didn't say.

I'm also thinking we're in a transition time.
People do things because of history - world wars, money, crisis. But if history's taught us anything it's that the next thing will be different and you can't really prepare.
Shops already prefer it if you do not pay with cash but with a plastic card. They put a number on an article, you pay that number with numbers on your bank account. We call it money but you barely see it as money, you see it as numbers.

A new world war will never be like the old ones, where one was just the consequence of the other which is why we had two. For one, there's too much in the open. It's no longer so easy to hide things as it were back then. The world's still as big as it was then but now people communicate more directly with each other.

Things are changing, and it's no use to think like a monk when Gutenberg (if he ever did) invented the press. You can't prepare for things. You can only go with the flow and hang on and hope you survive. I'm ill. My chances are not good.

In actuality, you're wrong, and certainly not rage-worthy; I didn't accuse YOU of the beef farts concern (unless you self-identify as a "Granolacrat" or believe in Environmental Socialism). However, the general claims of environmentalist idiots include the entire concept of beef cattle somehow being one of the global warming vectors.

The reality, so far as I'm aware, is that chickens and other game fowl are far greater environmental pollutants. Probably followed by swine.

Just so, and I suspect you've been playing Minecraft.

Thus the 100% failure rate I mentioned.

Since I didn't want to double-post in the "Pointless and stupid" thread, I'll drop this bomb here.
