Pigford, or what's wrong with America.

May 1 was "Everybody Blog about Pigford Day".

What's Pigford? This is Pigford. Watch the video. Systemic Gov't fraud deliberately enticed by Obama himself.

It's what's wrong with America, it's overtly racist and EVEN anti-Black, and even the NYT finally had to admit how filthy it is. Andrew Breitbart fought to publicize it and the Socialist Left tried to suppress the story.

Well, vd tends to play "6 degrees" with the banks.

I mean, there's plenty of things "wrong" with America, not the least of which is what this implies. (Happy Loyalty Day!)

However, I was pointing out that with over half of the population trying to feck over the other half in preference to earning an honest living, there's little hope for us as a cohesive society. So we're already quite a ways down the "free lunch" road, as it were, just as the election results implied.

^Finally, something I completely agree with.

Of course, that's the same video I posted in your voting = revenge thread, meaning you asked for this outcome. Irregardless of who you vote for, it will end like this w/ the healthy, good, responsible workers as slaves.

Not completely true, but your point is sound. By the time either candidate works their way through the bowels of the electoral process, they are likely to be Progressives in fact, if not in faith. Thing that got me was that Mittens lost more or less fair & square (as in, couldn't carry off an overwhelming victory in the face of fascist Democrat voter fraud) meaning too many citizens just didn't give a damn about the future.

Ergo, the "Let it burn" contingent, which I sympathise with.

Colonel West, as completely spot-on as usual:

This thread is so not the problem with America.
    Sorry.

Not that 10,000 Lawyers at the Bottom of the Ocean would not be a good start.

    Sigh

If doing that was a solution, then 10,000 would be a rather bad start for a country with more than 1.2 millions of them.

Seriously, the amount of lawyers is just the symptom. I would worry more about the reasons why so many are necessary. If you don't think they are needed, then who's paying their wages and why?

One attorney per 250 citizens, that's quite impressive. When assuming that they earn $10000 a month on average (which is probably a rather low guess), it's $40 for each US citizen, so e.g. a family with two children throws $160 into their maws every month, directly or indirectly.

Bob, if there's a lawyer in the neighbourhood, then demand back half of that money, for you your wife and your children, back to the limitation period. When assuming that it's 2 children and 10 years and that inflation ourweighs interests of those debts, it's 4x12x10x40/2 = $9600, to be spent on throwing a huge party. If he pays, expect another 60 parties like that in the recent future

This is what my original point was, in a roundabout way. Americans are more fixated on cheating each other and on shallow issues (like queer marriage) than they are on working to make a better life, nation, and society. That's why I threw in Col. West's monologue - the President goes out of his way to say he "couldn't be prouder" of a queer basketball player, but has no interest in discussing the four dead in Benghazi - at first it was too soon to discuss, now it's a long time ago and what difference at this point does it make?

But if he did, it would be a facade. Anything he discusses at all is for points on something and probably scripted by someone else. This is why we should dismiss everything and avoid the game. "Ignore the bullies" and all that.
