Will an item with "+x to class skils" increase oskill level?

Will an item with "+x to class skils" increase oskill level?

    Example:

I equip an Amazon with "Passion" sword with +1 to Zeal (oskill).

What if I equip this same zon with a "Guardian Angel" armor with +1 to Paladin skill levels?

Will her Zeal level be increased (since Zeal is a Paladin skill) or not?

    Thanks in advance.

The only bonuses that increase Passion's Zeal oskill are + All Skills and + Zeal (Paladin Only): for example, making Passion in a scepter with +3 Zeal (Paladin Only) would result in level 4 (1+3) Zeal.

Thankyou. That's a shame, would be good to have the faster block rate and an extra +skill. :P

So having a Harmony bow with lvl 10 Vigor aura + Tearhaunch boots with +2 to Vigor would give any character a lvl 12 Vigor aura?

+Skills from delirium/viper/highlord's would make it aura lvl 16?

No. Harmony grants Vigor aura on equip which is not increased by any form of skill bonus.

Thanx! It's good to know that, since I could have never guessed they were different. I mean, it's not like that Passion sword was gonna give me Zeal by just being in my stash, it would have to be equipped. So items that actually say "On Equip" don't benefit from +skills.

Yay! I learned something new today. Now I can play D2 the rest of the day with peace of mind.
