Ethereal Throwing Item Quantity

So I'm wondering how quantity is calculated for throwing items. Nothing on Arreat Summit, and as it's pretty difficult finding a magic ethereal javelins with replenishing mods I was hoping somebody here knew...

Is it calculated the same as Defense, or is there something else?

It's the same quantity as non ethereal.

Good. Now is suppose durability is calculated the same way, even if it is invisible?

Ethereal items usually have less durability (less by 10 IIRC), but I'm not sure if that applies to thrown weapons as well. To my knowledge, throwing items have a durability of around 5 each and if it reaches 0, their number is reduced by one. That means, ethereal throwing weapons will last rather long in melee, probably longer than you will use such an item.

For the sake of completeness, durability is only a factor when doing melee.
