smiter question

hi guys. i'm first season in diablo, and just managed to make my pala from hammer to smiter to have fun in uber tristram, and i don't get one thing. damage shown in char screen is so damn low. it's 127-360. first i had horizon's tornado with stormshield, but now i've changed weapon to grief pb, and nothing changed. i don't get it. i've read this guide, and there's about 5k damage with grief.http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/s...Tristram-v-1-0
is everything's correct with mine? maybe this damage is not shown?

The Grief damage shown on your screen is a glitch. The "added" damage from the grief rune word doesn't show up. What I do to calculate it is take the phase blade damage, add the + damage from the rune word, then multiply by any "+ % enhanced damage" on any other equipment. It does end up being around 4000 damage per attack from what I can remember.

so the damage added from grief is working on smite attack? and the damage from phase blade itself works too? is that correct?

I'm sorry, I messed up. The damage from grief is added to all types of attacks... I think. The PB damage isn't counted in the smite damage, but the grief damage is, that's why it's so awesome.
